Transylvania Adult Soccer Association

About Us

What started as casual pickup games among soccer enthusiasts in the scenic town of Brevard, North Carolina, blossomed into the vibrant Transylvania Adult Soccer Association (TASA). Founded by Adam Spencer, TASA began humbly, with players gathering for friendly matches on local fields. Over time, fueled by a shared passion for the sport, TASA evolved into a thriving soccer association, boasting a competitive adult league that attracts players from all corners of Transylvania County and beyond.

2024 - The Initial Idea of TASA is Put On Paper!

From its inception, TASA has been more than just a league—it’s a testament to the power of community and sport. Over the years, it has fostered a spirit of inclusivity, welcoming players from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Through rain or shine, amidst the backdrop of the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains, TASA has forged unforgettable memories and lifelong friendships on the pitch.

Megan Shina

Hi everyone, my name is Megan Shina and I’m the Director of Development at Brevard College. I graduated from Brevard College in 2019 where I played on the women’s soccer team. Soccer has always taken up a huge space in my heart, and so does this little town of Brevard, so I’m ecstatic that this adult league is kicking off! If you can’t find me at the College, you will more than likely find me hiking, running around town, or walking my dog Dash. See you on the pitch!
